DJ Switch says Army Colonel lied about handling of Lekki EndSARS protesters

OBIANUJU CATHERINE UDEH, better known as DJ SWITCH, has denied the claim by the Nigerian Army that soldiers who fired gunshots during the EndSARS protest at Lekki Tollgate on October 20 offered water and drinks to the protesters.

DJ SWITCH is insisting that she was personally threatened by the Army Officer who led the operation, and that some persons who were shot were taken away.

The singer-turned activist says only a thorough investigation by the Lagos State Judicial Panel looking into cases of police brutality will help to expose the truth about what happened on the night of Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

OBIANUJU CATHERINE UDEH also asked the International Criminal Court not to be discouraged in its plan to investigate crimes allegedly committed by the Nigerian security agencies.

OBIANUJU CATHERINE UDEH made the claim during an online conference organized by the office of Amnesty International in Nigeria.

Recall that DJ SWITCH fled Nigeria soon after the EndSARS protest was disrupted by hoodlums, and both the Federal Government and the Nigerian Military have denied her claim of threat to life.
