EFCC silent over over SERAP’S claims of missing high-profile case files

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, says corruption case files of fifteen prominent Nigerians have gone missing.

SERAP said the alleged missing case files involves investigations carried out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.

SERAP’s Executive Director, ADETOKUMBO MUMUNI, said his groups would take necessary legal steps to force the anti-corruption agencies to recover the alleged missing files.

MUMUNI, who spoke on telephone with Lasgidi FM’s News Desk, said Nigerians would know the names of those involved in the missing corruption files at the right time.

However; the EFCC and the ICPC have not responded to SERAP’s allegation of missing corruption case files.
