President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to come together and work towards defeating the challenges facing the country.
President Buhari also expressed his wish that the celebration of Eid-El-Fitri festival by Muslims will bring peace, safety, security, brotherhood and love amongst all citizens.
The President shared his expectations in a message to all Nigerians and Muslims across the globe on the celebration of Eid Al Fitri, which marks the end of Ramadan.
He said the unity and solidarity among all citizens, Muslims and Christians, are necessary at a time the country is faced with multiple challenges.
President Buhari said he was happy to see Christians breaking fast and extending gifts to Muslims during the Ramadan, just as Muslim groups also join Christian festivities.
