ENDSARS: looting, destruction continue all over Lagos for 2nd day

Some warehouses around Amumo in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State have been looted.

Eyewitnesses said sacks of grains and cartons of noodles were removed from some of the warehouses on Old Ojo Road and Monkey Village

However; it turned out that some of the looted grans and packed of noodles were marked as marked Covid-19, with the logo of the Lagos State Government.

A concerned citizen who called Lasgidi FM’s News Desk on the telephone said crowds of people moved from one warehouse to another, helping themselves with foodstuff.

Our contact person at Amuwo Odofin also said there was a stampede at one of the warehouses, while some thugs who tried to attack a police station at Monkey Village were stopped by some residents.

Meanwhile; residents around Ajah in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State are still calling for security intervention to check the criminal activities in the area.

Some concerned residents who called Lasgidi FM’s News Desk complained that the hoodlums have been harassing, extorting, and looting since the Lagos State Government imposed a curfew on Tuesday evening.

Several shopping malls have also been looted around Lekki, Ajah, and Surulere, with banks and their ATM vandalized.
