The Federal Government has denied the United States’ allegation of violation of religious freedom in Nigeria.
The Minister of Information and Culture, LAI MOHAMMED, described the allegation as a case of an honest disagreement between the two nations on the causes of violence in Nigeria.
In a statement obtained by Lasgidi FM News Desk, LAI MOHAMMED said Nigeria does not engage in religious freedom violations.
MOHAMMED also said Nigeria does not have a policy of religious persecution, adding that victims of insecurity and terrorism in the country cut across all religions practiced in the country.
