The Federal Government has kicked against a bill in the House of Representatives that seeks to regulate the Ecological Fund.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, BOSS MUSTAPHA, said the proposed law would take away the powers of the President over the Ecological Fund.
MUSTAPHA made the position of the government known in a document he sent to the House Committee on Ecological Fund.
The Director of Pollution Control in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, CLINTON IGWE, made the presentation at the opening of a public hearing on the new bill.
