The Federal Government is going ahead with the activation of 5-G technology to strengthen the telecoms industry in Nigeria.
This was made known by the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Umar Garba Danbata.
He was speaking at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited in Abuja.
He said the MoU between the two agencies under the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy would lay the foundations for 5-G technology.
Meanwhile; Umar Garba Danbata says does not have the technology to track the communication of bandits operating in different parts of the country.
