FG shares N66.5B to 35 States for Covid-19

The Federal Government has shared the sum of sixty-six point five billion naira to thirty-five states across the country in support of their operations to check the Covid-19 pandemic.

Each of the thirty-five states received the total sum of one point nine billion naira, while Rivers State was excluded from the distribution of the money.

The money shared under what the Federal Government called Amended COVID-19 Responsive 2020 Budget.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, ZAINAB AHMED, said the money is from a loan of seven hundred and fifty million US dollars obtained from the International Development Association.

Details of the Amended COVID-19 Responsive 2020 Budget were contained in a statement by the spokesman of the Finance Ministry, HASSAN DODO.
