FIFA President disapproves new European Super League

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has refused to approve the breakaway European Super League.

Infantino also warned that twelve clubs that have been listed to participate in the new league would have to live with the consequences of their decision.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has held a meeting with officials and representatives of fans of the Football Association, and Premier League.

After the meeting, the UK government said it would take whatever action necessary, including legislative options, to ensure the proposals were stopped.

The President of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez has in the meantime defended the creation of the European Super League.
