Fmr. Court Registrar jailed over N80M fraud

A former registrar of the Federal High Court JOSEPH UDOH has been sentenced to four years in prison for converting eighty million naira.

The Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna sentenced UDOK to one year in prison for each of four counts charges, which are to run at the same time.

The charges against UDOH were filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.

He was first put on trial in December 2019 alongside his wife, GRACE UDOH, who is also a staff of the Federal High Court.

They were accused of using the sum of eighty million naira deposited by a litigant to buy property in different parts of the country.
