GOV. El-Rufai heads APC reconciliation C’tee for Ekiti State

The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress has intervened in the crisis rocking the Ekiti State chapter of the party.

The Ekiti APC crisis is between a faction loyal to Governor KAYODE FAYEMI and another group that identifies with Senator FEMI OJODU, who is Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters.

The intervention is being led by the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the APC and Governor of Yobe State, MAI MALA BUNI.

Governor BUNI has set up a six-member Reconciliation Committee headed by Governor NASIR EL-RUFAI of Kaduna State to settle the disagreement among the APC chieftains in Ekiti.

Secretary of the APC National Caretaker Committee, AKPAN UDOEDEHE, inaugurated the team in Abuja yesterday, but Senator ROCHAS OKOROCHA and retired General BUBA MARWA, who are among the members, were absent.
