Governors’ Forum accuse AGF of supporting consultants in 418 million dollars Paris Club payment

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum has condemned the position of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami on the Paris Club refund request by consultants, involving four hundred and eighteen million dollars.

NGF said Malami’s interest in the matter suggests that there is a special relationship between the office of the AGF and the consultants over and above Nigerian citizens, whose interest the Attorney-General is bound to always protect.

The umbrella body of governors of the thirty-six states of the federation made this accusation in a statement signed by its Head of Media and Public Affairs, Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, in Abuja.
