Gunmen have attacked the country home of former governor of Bayelsa State, SERIAKE DICKSON, in Sagbama Local Government Area of the state.
The hoodlums who are said to have arrived at the location in three speed boats killed a police inspector during the operation.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASINIM BUTSWAT, confirmed the incident and the death of the police officer in a statement.
He said the Commissioner of Police, MIKE OKOLI have visited the scene of the attack at the riverine community of Toru-Orua.
