High-profile killings send panic across Liberia

Two sons of former Liberian presidents have been killed in latest high-profile attacks.

The victims include the last son of former president William R. Tolbert, who was murdered during the Samuel Doe coup in April, 1980.

Reports say the body of Reverend William R. Tolbert, III was found lying in a pool of blood in his bedroom at his residence on the Bushrod Island district of Monrovia.

Police spokesman Moses Carter confirmed that a female immigration officer Maude Elliott was also found with deep cuts at her home near Monrovia.
