India greets Nigeria at 60

The Federal Government has continued to receive congratulatory messages from the international community on Nigeria at Sixty.

The latest to send goodwill messages to the government and people of Nigeria is the Indian government.

The message from the President of India, RAM NATH KOVIND, was contained in a letter delivered to President MUHAMMADU BUHARI by the High Commission of India in Nigeria.

He noted that India and Nigeria have always enjoyed close and friendly relations, and seek healthy growth and prosperity for both nations.

The Indian leader thanked President BUHARI for helping in the evacuation of Indian citizens who were trapped in Nigeria during the Covid-19 lockdown.
