JUSUN blames Chief Judges for delayed judicial financial autonomy

The Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria has blamed State Chief Judges who collect luxury gifts from state governors for the delay in the implementation of financial autonomy for the judiciary.

JUSUN Treasurer, Jimoh Alonge, made the allegation in an interview with newsmen, as the strike embarked upon by judicial workers entered its third week.

Alonge maintained that the JUSUN would not shift its position on its demand that money meant for the payment of salaries of all judicial workers must be given to the National Judicial Council.
