The Kano State Government has set up a special task force to enforce the regulations on Covid-19.
The operatives are known as Covid-19 Special Marshals, and there are one thousand in the first set that has just been launched.
The Covid-19 Marshals were selected from various health institutions, security agencies, student bodies and community representatives.
Governor ABDULLAHI GANDUJE said the Special Marshalls will also help to address issues of hygiene, while working together with government health officials.
