Forty-eight more Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged from isolation centres in Lagos State.
This brings the number of patients who have been successfully managed in Lagos to one thousand, one hundred and eighty-five, as at Sunday, June 14, 2020.
However; Lagos State also recorded sixty-eight new Covid-19 infections on the same day the 48 were discharged.
This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in its latest update late last night.
However; Gombe state overtook Lagos at the top spot of the daily Covid-19 record, with seventy-three confirmed cases.
In all; the NCDC confirmed four hundred and three new Covid-19 cases, which now puts the total record in Nigeria at sixteen thousand, and eighty-five.
