The Lagos State Government has asked public and private schools in the state to close for the Christmas and New Year vacation tomorrow.
The directive was announced in a statement by the Director-General in charge of the Office of Education Quality Assurance, in the Ministry of Education, ABIOLA SERIKI-AYENI.
The government’s directive comes as public and private schools in Lagos State conclude their first term examinations for the 2020/2021 academic session.
ABIOLA SERIKI-AYENI also said it was important for school administrators to note that students in boarding house are to resume on Sunday, January, 3rd 2021, while academic activities for a new term would resume immediately.
