Lagos State issues N137.3b bond for infrastructure projects

The Lagos State has concluded plans to raise the sum of one hundred and thirty-seven point-three billion bond from the financial market

All necessary documents that are required by the Securities and Exchange Commission for the thirteen percent fixed rate bond were signed by the Attorney General and other parties yesterday.

During the signing ceremony, Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU said the bond would be used to build important infrastructure projects in the state.

Governor SANWO-OLU said the projects would cover healthcare, environment and road construction.

He said the roads include Eti-Osa regional road, the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ijeododo Road in Alimosho and Oba Sekumade Road in Ikorodu.
