N2B fraud: court rules Maina bail risk

Chairman of the disbanded Presidential Task Team on Pension Reform, Abdulrasheed Maina, has lost his application for bail over his trial for alleged two-billion-naira fraud

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja declared that Maina does not deserve to be given a second chance, after he jumped bail last year and fled to Niger Republic, before he captured and repatriated.

Recall that Senator Ali Ndume, who stood surety for Maina, was put in prison for four days, after the accused jumped bail.
