NECO releases SSCE results; Withdraws recognition from 12 schools

The National Examination Council, NECO, has withdrawn its recognition for twelve schools across the country for involvement in mass cheating.

This was announced by NECO Registrar, Professor GODSWILL OBIOMA, while announcing results of the internal Senior Secondary School Certification Examination, SSCE.

Professor OBIOMA said four of the affected schools are in Adamawa, two in Kaduna, two in Kastina, Two in Niger, one in Taraba and one in Abuja.

He said twenty-four supervisors were blacklisted for poor supervision, encouraging cheating, and writing answers on chalkboards for candidates to copy.
