NFIU submits report of Magu’s Financial dealings to Presidential Panel

The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit has presented a report of its investigations of foreign exchange activities by the suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, IBRAHIM MAGU.

This comes three days after the Abuja office of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit was attacked by burglers.

The report was presented to the presidential panel led by Justice AYO SALAMI, which is investigating several allegations against IBRAHIM MAGU.

The suspended acting chairman of EFCC appeared before the panel yesterday, as his investigation entered the second week.

Similarly; a clergyman who is alleged to have helped the suspended Acting Chairman of EFCC, IBRAHIM MAGU, to buy landed property in Dubai has denied the allegation.

Lawyers to Prophet EMMANUEL OMALE, made the denial in a letter on his intention to take legal action against the publishers of the allegation.

According to the letter signed by GORDY UCHE, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Prophet OMALE said he only prayed with IBRAHIM MAGU when he traveled to Dubai for medical treatment.
