The forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission has been completed and the report submitted to the Federal Government.
The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, summited the report to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
During the presentation; Senator Akpabio said the NDDC forensic audit covered a total of thirteen thousand, seven hundred and seventy-seven contracts, which were awarded from 2001 to 2019.
In his response; the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, said the NDDC received over six trillion naira since 2001 and is unable to reconcile its over three hundred bank accounts.
