Angry members of the People’s Democratic Party from Niger State have staged a protest at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.
The protest was held just as members of PDP National Working Committee were meeting to discuss some pressing party issues.
The Niger PDP protesters demanded the sacking of the party’s National Financial Secretary, ABDULLAHI MAIBASIRA.
They accused MAIBASIRA of conniving with the Niger State Government under the All Progressives Congress to undermine the PDP.
The protesters said the only PDP leader they know in Niger State is former Governor BABANGIDA ALIYU.
