The Nigerian Army has protested against what it considers as indiscriminate and insensitive sharing of graphic pictures of soldiers who died in the battle field on the social media.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima, says such act is not only unpatriotic but shameful.
The Army spokesman reminded the people that officers and soldiers deployed for internal security operations put themselves in harm’s way to defend and protect the country.
