Ondo State House of Assembly reinstates four suspended Lawmakers

Four suspended members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have been allowed to return to their seats, as ordered by the court.

The four reinstated lawmakers include the former Deputy Speaker, IROJU OGUNDEJI, FAVOUR TOMOMEWO, ADEWALE WILLIAMS, and AKINRINDIBO LEONARD.

This was approached by the Speaker, BAMIDELE OLEYELOOGUN, to allow the lawmakers resume plenary is reportedly not unconnected with contempt of court summon served the Speaker and three others.

The Speaker is also facing charges of contempt of court by the Ondo State High Court, alongside Clerk, BODE ADEYELU; the Parliamentary Secretary, ABAYOMI AKINRUNTAN, and the Deputy Majority Leader, OLADIJI OLAMIDE ADESANMI.
