Oshiomhole was right to call you a betrayer, Wike tells Obaseki

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has apologized to former governor of Edo State and national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole.

This is the latest development in the bitter disagreement between Governor Wike and Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.

Governor Wike accused Governor Obaseki of betrayal and ungratefulness to the People’s Democratic Party for helping him to win his second term election.

On court judgment that removed Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State; Governor Nyesom Wike insisted that he is part of the lawsuit, but not as reported by a section of the media.

Meanwhile; Governor Godwin Obaseki, has told his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, that the PDP is not his personal property.

Governor Obaseki shared his opinion in response to Governor Wike’s criticism of his deputy, Philip Shaibu, which he described as a personal attack.

In a statement he personally signed, Governor Obaseki said no one is against Wike’s desire to run for president.

However, Obaseki said Wike’s ambition should not cause disruption within the PDP, including the PDP Governors’ Forum.
