Oyo state government to build 1200 kilometres of rural roads

Oyo State Government plans to build about one thousand, two hundred kilometres of rural roads as part of efforts to boost agriculture.

The state government also said there will be no hidden taxes or multiple taxation for people who decide to invest in agric business in the state.

Governor Seyi Makinde made the announcement at the Oyo State Agric Business Summit in the state capital, Ibadan.

Governor Makinde said his government was turning things around in agriculture, with the revival of nine farm settlements.

Makinde said the farm settlements have been renamed as Agric Business Industrial Hub, with all necessary facilities and security to drive business.
