The People’s Democratic Party has criticized President MUHAMMADU BUHARI over his comments on the defection of Governor DAVID UMAHI of Ebonyi State.
PDP’s spokesman, KOLA OLOGBONDIYAN, accused President BUHARI of abandoning governance to engage in what he called political scavenging.
Meanwhile; state governors elected on the platform of the PDP have promised to remain loyalty and work to strengthen the party.
Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Governor AMINU TAMBUWAL of Sokoto State made the promise on behalf of his colleagues at the NEC meeting of the PDP.
Despite the defection of Governor DAVE UMAHI, the Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator WALID JIBRIN, said the party remains strong in Ebonyi State.
