President Muhammadu Buhari, has called on European leaders to support measures put in place by the African Union to tackle illegal change of government in the continent.
President Buhari made the call in his contribution to the roundtable discussion on Peace, Security, and Governance at the ongoing sixth EU-AU Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geofrey Onyeama told newsmen at the sideline of the roundtable discussion that President Buhari equally stressed the need to tackle the root causes of extremism, conflicts and tensions in Africa.
Geofrey Onyeama quoted President Buhari as saying that Nigeria will not support tenure elongation and changing of constitution to extend term limits in Africa.
