President Muhammadu Buhari has stressed the need to use the internet for the benefit of national security and economic progress.
President Buhari charged the National Security Adviser to continue to coordinate efforts to ensure that the internet and cyberspace are used for the set goals.
President Buhari said he was confident of new opportunities to usher Nigeria into a bright future driven by cyberspace and digital economy.
Buhari gave this indication in an address during the launch of the National Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy for 2021.
