The Federal Government has confirmed the appointment of Professor IBRAHIM AGBOOLA GAMBARI as the Chief of Staff to President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, BOSS MUSTAPHA, confirmed the appointment of seventy-five-year-old Professor GAMBARI just before the Federal Executive Council meeting.
Meanwhile; the new Chief of Staff to the President, Professor IBRAHIM GAMBARI, has promised to serve the nation to the best of his ability.
Professor GAMBARI made the pledge in a brief interview State House Correspondents in Abuja, soon after he assumed duties.
The new Chief of Staff said what the President needs the most from him is his loyalty, competence, and support in the task of governance.
Professor GAMBARI takes over the position of late Chief of Staff to the President, ABBA KYARI, who died of Covid-19 on April 17, 2020.
