Former governor Senator Rasheed Ladoja, who is the Osi Olubadan of Ibadan, has endorsed Senator Lekan Balogun as the next in line for the throne of Olubadan.
The absence of Senator Ladoja at a meeting where the Olubadan-in-Council endorsed Senator Balogun for the position had sparked concerns about his position on the matter.
However, Ladoja disclosed at his residence in Bodija area of Ibadan when he received some visitors that there was no controversy surrounding the next Olubadan.
Ladoja also said he did not know anything about a letter written by former Attorney General, Michael Lana, asking Governor Seyi Makinde not to approve Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan.
