Two EndSARS campaigners have been nominated for the Lagos State Judicial Panel on Police Brutality and Lekki Toll Gate Shooting of Protesters.
They are RINU ODUALA and MAJEKODUNMI TEMITOPE, who had been among the early set of young Nigerians to join the EndSARS protests in Lagos.
RINU ODUALA later confirmed during a television interview that they are going to the panel to get justice and compensation for victims of police brutality.
Beyond the EndSARS protests; RINU ODUALA said they want to see consistent action from government on dealing with issues related to police brutality and general reforms.
RINU ODUALA said it is about time for Nigerians to begin to work together on issues that concern the citizens, and not wait until it happens to them personally.
And to the criminal elements who hijacked the protest and turned it to violence, ODUALA said it was a sad disconnection.
