The Nigerian Military has come under strong criticism over the attack and killing of military officers at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna.
A security consultant, Dickson Osagie, said the attack on the NDA should not have happened if the authorities had put in place the right response strategy.
Osagie said all hope is not lost, as the attack on the NDA provides an opportunity for the military to assess the risk of all formations across the country.
Dickson Osagie also those behind the security crisis in the Northwest have graduated to terrorists, and should not be described as bandits.
The security expert who spoke in a telephone interview with Lasgidi FM News Desk, said the terrorists are taking advantage of ungoverned space in the Northwest.
