Seychelles reintroduce Covid-19 restrictions

Authorities in the Seychelles are reintroducing Covid-19 restrictions due to the increasing number of new infections.

The development comes despite the country attaining sixty percent vaccination of its population, which should have been enough to provide herd immunity.

Reports say the country recorded five hundred new cases in three days, adding that one in three of the active cases involves people who had had two vaccine doses.
