The United States Embassy Statement in Nigeria has called on stakeholders in the Ondo State election to continue to work toward a free, fair, transparent, and peaceful election.
The US Embassy expressed that all participants in the democratic process, including INEC, political parties, and security services, will take concrete steps to ensure a peaceful election that reflects the will of the Ondo people.
In a statement, the United States said it remains committed to the partnership with the Nigerian government.
It noted that working together, the US and Nigeria can achieve mutual goals of peace and prosperity for the citizens of both our countries.
