Lagos-based human rights lawyer, Monday Ubani, has joined in condemning comments by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on the leaked Lagos State EndSARS Panel Report.
Monday Ubani, who is a former Second Vice President of the Nigeria Bar Association, said the Minister rushed to address the media on the matter just to save his face.
Ubani, who spoke with Lasgidi FM News Desk, said this is because President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier said that the Federal Government would wait for the action of the state government.
Monday Ubani maintained that from all available information, some peaceful protesters were killed at the Lekki Tollgate on the night of October 20, last year.
