European football governing body UEFA has declared social media boycott beginning from Friday, April 30, 2021.
UEFA said it would stay silent across its platforms from Friday afternoon until Monday evening, May 3, 2021.
By this action, UEFA joins other English sports clubs and organisations, which have also declared social media blackout this weekend.
The media boycott of the sports clubs and organisations is to protest against hostility and racism.
