Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has called for the adoption of the 1963 Constitution as a replacement for the 1999 Constitution.
Governor Akeredolu said the 1963 Constitution provides the bases for the practice of true federalism in the country.
The Governor observed that the 1999 Constitution, which is currently in use, is not good and should have been changed before now.
He was speaking in the state capital, Akure, at the opening of the zonal public hearing on the proposed amendment of the 1999 Constitution.
