The Academic Staff Union of Nigeria, ASUU, has issued a three-week strike notice to the Federal Government.
ASUU wants the Federal Government to address all issued in the agreement reached between both sides in December last year.
The issues include unpaid academic earned allowances and universities revitalization fund, which have been pending for almost one year.
ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, issued the warning during a media briefing at the University of Abuja.
Professor Osodeke said that the decision was reached at a meeting of the National Executive Committee of the union.
