Armed bandits have attacked the headquarters of the Nigerian Defence Academy in Afaka, Kaduna State.
The spokesman for the NDA, Major Bashir Muhd Jajira confirmed in a statement that the terrorists killed two military officers and abducted a third officer.
Major Jajira said the NDA community and Cadets are safe in the Academy, just as he assured the general public that the attackers would be caught and the abducted personnel rescued.
He said the Academy is working with the One Division of the Nigerian Army and the Air Training Command, as well as other security agencies in Kaduna State, in the search for the attackers.
Meanwhile; other reports quoting close sources claim that the armed men who invaded the NDA were dressed in military uniforms.
The officers who were killed were also identified as a Major and a Squadron Leader, while the one who was abducted was identified as a Major.
