President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded the names of the immediate past Service Chiefs to the Senate as non-career Ambassadors-Designate.
They are General Abayomi Olonisakin, Lieutenant-General Tukur Buratai, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
Also nominated for confirmation as a non-career ambassador is the former Chief of Defence Intelligence, retired Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Usman.
This information was confirmed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
He said the names of the nominees were contained in a letter President BUHARI sent to the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan.
