This report says the new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Faruk Yahaya has visited Imo State to encourage troops involved in the security operation there.
Major General Yahaya was at the 34 Brigade barracks at Obinze, where he praised troops and other security operatives for their efforts in restoring peace to the area.
He also paid a visit to troops of 211 Response Group of the Nigerian Air Force, Owerri, where he encouraged them to be professional and alert at all times.
