Covid-19 vaccination in Nigeria hits 638, 291

The ongoing Covid-19 vaccination has covered six hundred and thirty-eight thousand, two hundred and ninety-one persons in Nigeria so far.

The figure released by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency represents those who have received their first doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine as at, March 30, 2021.

The Agency said the number represents thirty-one point seven percent of those who are meant to be covered in the first phase of the vaccination exercise.

Lagos State accounts for the highest number of those who have been vaccinated, at one hundred and twenty-two thousand, seven hundred and fourteen.

No vaccination is being done in Kogi State, while Abia State has the least record among states that are involved in the vaccination exercise, with just two hundred and twenty-five.
