Crude oil theft pushing Nigeria into bankruptcy – Pastor E.A Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has warned that the huge volume of crude oil theft in Nigeria could make the country to become broke.

Pastor Adeboye wondered who were involved in the crude oil theft, where they are hiding the money, and what they intend to do with such huge amount of money.

In a sermon to members of his church on Sunday, the clergyman also questioned foreign nations that are buying stolen oil from Nigeria and how many of them are friends of the country.

He also complained that Nigeria was borrowing too much, so that over ninety percent of the government’s revenue is now being used to service debts.

On the 2023 general election, Pastor Adeboye advised Nigerians, especially his church members, to take part in the political process.

He said those who do not vote during elections should not complain about how the country is being managed.

However, the RCCG Pastor said his position had nothing to do with partisan politics, adding that members of his church were free to belong to any political party and to vote any candidate of their choice.
