Defence Minister talks tough over murder of soldiers in Benue

The Federal Government says it does not take it kindly to the killing of military personnel by anyone.

The Minister of Defence, retired Major General Bashir Magashi, made this known while briefing newsmen in Abuja.

Magashi spoke in response to the recent killing of eleven soldiers and an army captain in clashes with militias in Benue State.

He said the government has reviewed the situation and has adopted an approach to deal with the problem of insecurity in different parts of the country.
