Edo, Adamawa & Kaduna State Police Commands get new commissioners

There has been a change of leadership in the police commands in Edo, Adamawa, Kaduna and Imo States, which now have new Commissioners of Police.

Cp Abutu Yaro is now in charge of the Edo State Police Command; while CP Sikiru Akande Kayode moves to Adamawa State Police Command.

Also, CP Yekini Adio Ayoku takes charge of Kaduna State Police Command, while CP Mohammed Ahmed Barde moves to Imo State Police Command.

The new postings approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Usan Alkali Baba, were announced in a statement by the Acting Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi.

He said the new Commissioners of Police are expected to begin work immediately in the fight against crime and improvement of public safety.
