The Nigeria Immigration Service Bayelsa Command has been commended for improving on service delivery at the passport office despite the scarcity of booklets in their disposal for international passport.
Our correspondent, who visited the passport office to ascertain the situation on ground, gave credence to a improved Service delivery and a satisfaction to many applicants
Some applicants at the office notes that the command has left no stone unturned in ensuring accelerated service delivery processes that will bring ease in the application for processing and issuance of the passport to applicants.
A passport applicant Mr. Uche Oka, from another State who came for his passport expressed satisfaction with the process and procedures in which he said has led to the seamless, self serving and tracking process by applicants
Another passport seeker who declined his name mentioned, commended the State Passport controller and personnel for their cooperation and conduct with applicants which has reduced the crowd and massive turn-out witnessed in the passport offices in the past.
He however, said he collected is Passport after following the stipulated procedure at no additional cost which he described as a step in the right direction.
